A little more about who I am...

Grangewood Copywriting is run by Debbie Thomas and is based in Flintshire in North Wales near to Chester, Wrexham and north west England. (But of course, thanks to technology, my copywriting services are within easy reach of the rest of the UK too!)

So let me tell you a bit more about who I am

Grangewood Copywriting launched in 2014 and I've been immersed in the world of content, communications and marketing ever since! And in 2023, I also entered the charity sector, working on a part time basis at the amazing Chester mental health charity Platform For Life.

I've over 18 years of experience in the private sector which means you’ll be working with a professional who understands business reality - and budgets... My background includes senior management positions in human resources and training and development plus I've an MSc in Human Resources Management. I've experience in business communications and health and safety so you can expect a high degree of versatility whatever your copywriting requirements. I even have a City and Guilds qualification in steelmaking - not something many copywriters have on their CV...

It's important you get the highest standards of copywriting possible so you get the best results for your business so to make sure I could offer those standards, I trained in copywriting with Copywriting Training Ltd and in proofreading with the Publishing Training Centre. I also studied Psychology at Nottingham University, a subject that taught me all about human motivation and behaviour, and that's become an important part of my copywriting services. Unless you understand exactly who you are writing for, the copy is unlikely to deliver the results it needs to!
